It’s hard out there for the vast majority of the players. Most actors struggle to find steady work and must be based on jobs outside the industry to food on the table. Very few are fortunate enough to make a living through their work alone. The problem is that there are too many players and not nearly enough acting jobs to go around. The competition is fierce, especially for the best roles and the better paying jobs. Actors must possess not only a lot of talent, they must also have the right physical presence, training and experience to their foot in the door. The “edge” on competition and find a job, many actors turn to industry professionals hone their skills. One of the main trainer, that an actor can be a voice and speech coach.
